Service is great. The ladies make you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Food is wonderful! Always fresh and nice flavor. I recommend la Vaca Loca whis is an omelette topped with carne asada and of course have an orderbof cafe le la olla and you will love it! Cant say enough compliments about this place. Enjoy it!
If you're in Moreno Valley and craving authentic Mexican food, stop scrolling--this is the spot! I've dined here several times in the past month, and every experience has been a fiesta for my taste buds. This mom-and-pop shop serves up not only incredible food but also a warm, family-friendly vibe that makes you want to stay for dessert (and maybe seconds). Let's taco 'bout the food: My kids are obsessed with the loaded nachos (basically happiness on a plate), while I can't resist the grilled chicken smothered in melted cheese and mushrooms. The grilled steak is another winner--juicy, flavorful, and generously portioned. Portions are "pre-COVID-sized," so you won't leave hungry, and eating here multiple times a week won't have your wallet crying for help. Pro tip for foodies: The menu has pictures, but unless you've got 20/20 vision, bring your glasses. A fellow foodie next to me had a mini-meltdown because he forgot his specs and couldn't figure out his order. Also, don't worry if you don't speak Spanish--the menu is user-friendly and speaks the universal language of deliciousness. Most dishes aren't spicy, but if you're spice-averse, let your server know (and maybe hold the chiles). The guacamole is small but mighty in flavor and price. And whatever you do, save room for the café de olla--a heavenly mix of coffee, cinnamon, and dried orange peel. It's like a hug in a mug that warms your soul. Highly recommend this hidden gem! But shhh--don't burn the spot. For more foodie adventures, follow me on Yelp. Jordan
Hidden Gem! Really tasty food with a lot of flavor, I really enjoyed their green chilaquiles for breakfast. They have a big breakfast selection, not just Mexican food. Good Tacos and the Alambres they make are so good, they have a vegetarian option too. Oh and they serve a really good cheesecake for desert, that I would say it's the best I've ever had!!
First time trying the place and I LOVED IT that I felt the need to share with the community! I ordered huaraches with Agua Fresca de Mango The meet had a good taste and the agua Fresca was so natural Shot out to Denisse really helpful young lady Go and try it , you will not regret it
Delicious and authentic, home made tortillas, flour and corn. Fast and friendly service. Great value for amount you get. Small café with minimal decor and Spanish music playing. I just moved here and tried several places looking for authenticity - and now I found it while waiting for my car serviced at Les Schwab (around the corner). Sorry no pics maybe next time.
This is my go to spot when I'm jonesing for some good Mexican food. Their burritos and mulitas are delicious. I love the corn tortillas they use. The staff doesn't speak good English, but they are friendly and provide good service. Either way, you will get what you ask for.
The best carne asada burrito I've ever tasted. It's HUGE! I've been to a lot of authentic Mexican restaurants. This is by far the best! I highly recommend this restaurant. Special thank you to my colleague, Annikany, for introducing this restaurant to me!
They are busy but they are good and fast. I had the chilaquiles rojos rate then a 3 out of five. My son had the el marranito omelette it was very tasty. This was our first time here.

We were on our way out to Joshua Tree National Park and stumbled upon El DFectuoso for breakfast. It is a small little cafe in a strip mall. It has a bit of a diner feel to it, but don't let that change your mind. We were seated right away and handed menus. The choices for breakfast are a lot and everything looked and smelled delicious. We each settled on our meals, placed our orders and before we knew it, our hot plates were placed in front of us. Mr. B went with the Huevos a la Mexicana. It was spicy, and woke up the taste buds, but scrumptious. The plate had scrambled eggs with Pico de Gallo mixed in and there was rice and beans. He had coffee and our server kept his cup filled. I chose the Red Chilaquiles medium hot, and it was spicy but in the most perfect way. I had two scrambled eggs, shops with red sauce and topped with Queso Fresco, with rice and beans on the side. Everything was well seasoned, spicy but not in a mouth burning way, fresh and full of authentic Mexican spices and flavor. Would we eat here again, yes absolutely, and you should too. Parking was easy since it was located in a strip mall.
